4 out of 5 starsThe product is beautiful! I absolutely love it! The only issue is I bought it to bake bread in, and this is my fault for not double checking the max baking temp on this item, but it can only go in to a max of 400 degrees. Most bread needs to be baked at a hotter temp than that. So I now have a beautiful casserole dish!

Thanks Megan, we actually have very good results with bread recipes in the baker at 400F. If you want it a little crusty-er you can adjust the recipe and then leave the lid off a little longer to crisp it up. Clay is an insulator, so you'll find 400F in clay is a lot warmer for the bread environment. Also, your bread baker came with a recipe card with a no knead recipe that does great at 400F. Casseroles are good, but I have a feeling if you try the bread recipe you'll like the results. Happy baking either way. -Morgan & The Coyotes
